What to expect

A friendly, practical hour. No lecture-hall feel, just useful information you can put to work the same day.

This talk is educational and is not medical advice. Please talk with your doctor about your personal fall risk.

What we will cover

By the end of the hour, you will have a short, realistic plan you can start on right away.

The real numbers on falls. How common they are, and the good news about how preventable they are.
A room-by-room home walkthrough. Lighting, rugs, cords, bathrooms, and stairs, and what to change first.
Everyday balance habits. Small movements that build steadiness into your normal routine.
Strength you can keep. Why leg strength matters most, and easy ways to hold onto it.
Medications and dizziness. Which questions to bring to your doctor or pharmacist at your next visit.
Vision and footwear. Two quick checks that make an outsized difference in staying steady.
