What to expect

A relaxed, friendly afternoon in your own community, with time set aside just for you. Reserve your slot and come with your questions.

One on one conversations. Lourdes sits down with you personally and answers your question in plain language, without jargon.
Your own 30-minute appointment. Slots run from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Call 323-673-7613 to reserve yours, and Lourdes can set a follow-up date if you need more time.
Bring your confusing Medicare mail. Lourdes will help you understand what a letter or notice actually means.
Help in English or Spanish. Lourdes is fully bilingual, so bring a neighbor or family member who prefers Spanish.
Annual Enrollment is coming. It runs October 15 to December 7. Lourdes will explain what that window is for and how to get ready, without discussing any specific plan.

What you can ask about

This is an educational event. Any Medicare question is welcome, and here are some of the most common ones.

The parts of Medicare. What Part A, Part B, Part C, and Part D actually cover, in plain words.

Original Medicare versus Medicare Advantage. How the two paths differ and what questions to ask before choosing.

Dental, vision, and drug coverage. Where they fit into the Medicare picture and where people often get surprised.

That confusing letter you received. Bring your Medicare mail and Lourdes will translate it into everyday language.

Turning 65 timing. When your enrollment window opens and closes, and how to avoid late penalties.

Helping a parent or neighbor. How family members and caregivers can support someone through Medicare decisions.

What will not happen at this event

This is an educational gathering, not a sales event. Here is our promise to you.

No sales pitch. No specific insurance plans, carriers, premiums, or benefits will be presented, discussed, or compared.
No enrollment. No plan enrollment of any kind will take place at this event.
Nothing to sign. You will not be asked to sign anything or provide personal information to attend.
No pressure. Come and leave whenever you like. Nobody follows up unless you personally ask for a call.
